In order to realize the above stated Objectives,
the BERIKIDS Centre undertakes the following Activities:
Rehabilitation Centre, Vocational Training, Community Development, a Sport Academy
for youths.
DRESSMAKING AND TAILORING CENTRE: We have
initiated and are currently managing a tailoring, knitting and
embroidery workshop designed at implementing the tailoring skills of
youths to the general public and vulnerable children in particular.
CARPENTRY WORKSHOP: We developed a
carpentry workshop in order to encourage young men mostly on
technical work. Helping them on income generating skills.
COMPUTER LITERACY: It is important to keep
the children abreast with modern information and communication
technology.
PSYCHIATRIC CENTRE: One of our members
with counselling and psychiatric experience is putting all his
effort to treat mentally health related issues of teenage-mothers.
CAPACITY BUILDING & SOCIAL EDUCATION:
We organize workshops and training conferences to empower the
vulnerable children and educate them on their rights and obligations
likewise on the social and environmental ills that plague our
society. To do all these, we bring them together through sporting
activities such as football, handball, etc.
VOLUNTEERING:
Considering that we are a voluntary, non-profit making
organization, BERIKIDS has initiated this program intended to reach
out directly or indirectly to the needy. We presently have the
